“I Love Jenni”, late Jenni Rivera’s reality series, will keep running even without the Mexican American star's participation, and it is set to premiere its third season on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. EST, Mun2 the TV channel behind the production, confirmed on a press release.

According to the network, the new season will feature footage recorded weeks before and after Rivera’s death. The season will also portray how members of her family and her children Chiquis, Jacqui, Michael, Jenicka and Johnny, as well as her sister Rosie, mourn and try to continue with life in an effort to preserve her legacy.

"I remember her every day and just receiving her words gives me strength. It is very difficult for me, but I am happy to be with my brothers, supporting and educating them as always," said Chiquis in an interview with Univision’s “El Gordo y la Flaca” about how she has managed to face the loss of her mother.

The TV station is also preparing to air a one-hour special “We Love Jenni” honoring “La Diva de la Banda” a week before the premier of the reality show’s new season. It will feature interviews with Thalia, Diana Reyes, Mexican band Tucanes de Tijuana, Horoscopos de Durango and Larry Hernandez. Carson Daly and Mario Lopez will also be part of the special program.

Rivera died last December 9th in a plane crash in Mexico that left no survivors. At least five people were traveling in the plane at the moment, among them the pilot, her attorney, publicist and makeup artist. Before her flight, Rivera had played a concert in Monterrey, and was on her way to another work commitment when the accident took place.
