"Glee's" first episode of 2012, "Yes/No," started out with a sure-fire crowd-pleaser: a reenactment by Sam and Mercedes of the 1978 "Grease" duet "Summer Nights."
They filmed the scene on the original bleachers in Venice High School, with outfits, supporting characters and even expressions and camera shots that mimicked the original John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John scene.
