The women of "Hot in Cleveland" have developed a great rapport and comedic chemistry through three season of the TV Land hit. That should bode well for their plans for a live episode this summer. Betty White, for one, told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" that she's very excited about the episode.
"I love live TV. You wouldn’t understand it, but I love it," White joked to Leno. "There’s something exciting about it, isn’t there?"
She loved the inherent danger of going live with a show like that. "If something slips out of your mouth that you didn’t mean it to, there ain’t no getting it back," she said.
But not everyone is as excited as she is. White said her co-star Valerie Bertinelli is actually very nervous about it.
For now, "Hot in Cleveland" continues on TV Land every Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST, and look for that live episode on June 19.
