Katie Holmes talked about the possibility of a "Dawson's Creek" reunion, saying she'd love to do it. The series ran from 1998 to 2003, making it's tenth anniversary just around the corner. She told Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night" the the main problem is what to do with a reunion.
There is another problem. "Our last episode, Michelle [Williams'] character passed away," Holmes said.
Fallon had a solution for that, though. "She can come back as a ghost! Problem solved!" he said. It worked for "Grey's Anatomy," after all.
James Van Der Beek toyed around with it from a comedic point of view on his series "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" by having co-star Busy Phillips drop by. Showrunner Nahnatchka Khan told the Hollywood Reporter that Holmes has an open invitation to appear on that show, as do fellow "Creek" co-stars Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.
So there's another solution, as it could be a cast reunion rather than a character reunion.
Tune in to "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" every weeknight at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
