On Sunday night's "2012 Tony Awards" (Sun., 8 p.m. ET on CBS) Sheryl Crow took to the stage to present the award for Best Original Score.
It was the singer's first public appearance since announcing that she has a benign brain tumor.
After host Neil Patrick Harris gave her a note-perfect introduction, Crow joked that she'd work it into her theatrical score for the musical version of Barry Levinson's movie "Diner."
She then announced that the 2012 Tony Award for Best Original Score went to ... Alan Menken and Jack Feldman for "Newsies."
